WWWB-TV History Timeline

1994 - WFVT-TV signs on in the air Charlotte, CBC operates through a local marketing agreement

1995 - WFVT-TV becomes a WB affiliate

1996 - WFVT-TV license transfers to TV 55, LLC.

8/1/2001 - WFVT changes its call letters to WWWB

2002 - WWWB-TV airs first HD broadcast, "Family Affair" in September

3/17/2003 - WWWB makes first HDnet broadcast

4/28/2006 - One of Capitol Broadcasting Company's two Charlotte television stations made a change on Friday, April 28, 2006. WWWB-TV officially became WMYT-TV and will now be known as MY TV12.

9/15/2006 - WMYT-TV, one of CBC's two Charlotte TV stations, begins airing programming for the brand new My Network TV. WMYT was left without a network when the WB ceased operation and merged with UPN. FOX created My Network TV.
